Recovering an abandoned drill rig from the bush.

A client had a drill rig stranded on an old lease. Parts had been stripped off it, so it couldn't be started or driven out under its own power — and it still had to come off the lease.

Drillspec got the call. We sized up the rig on the ground, hired in a hydraulic Enerpac setup, and used it to safely lift and shift the rig so it could be moved — no engine, no drivetrain needed. We ran the job from the first call to load-out.

The rig was recovered from the bush and handed back to the client, ready for whatever came next — without the cost or risk of writing it off where it sat. Another one sorted.
